Lash Lift VS Lash Extensions

There are a number of key differences between a lash lift and a lash extension. Firstly, lash extensions work by putting artificial lashes onto your natural ones to give a more striking look. With a lash lift, the effect is more natural-looking since the procedure involves working with your natural lashes to make them look better.

More than that, a lash lift has more benefits against lash extensions.  The effects of a lash lift last longer than extensions and the serum used in the lift make your lashes healthier, while lash extensions may damage your lashes if done incorrectly.

What’s The Procedure Like?

Your technician will first sanitize the whole area around your eyes to remove all mascara, debris, or oil. A silicone mold of your lashes will then be made after this. An eyelash perm solution will be applied to your lashes, then a second solution will be applied to reshape them.

The whole process will take roughly 45-60 minutes.

You can combine this treatment with lash tinting if you want to darken light lashes. The two treatment together will make it look like you have newly curled lashes and a coat of mascara. If you avail of both procedures together, the total treatment time and cost will be a little greater.

After The Procedure?

After your treatment, don’t use any makeup, skincare products, or lotions around your eyes. 24 hours after your treatment, you can go back to your regular skincare routine.

If your lashes are exposed to heat and moisture, that can reduce the effectiveness of your lash lift treatment. Avoid steam and long hot showers for the best results. Applying a little coconut oil on your lashes can help maintain your lash lift, but this isn’t necessary.
