Try HydraFacial For Instantly Luminous Skin

What Is HydraFacial and How Does It Work?

HydraFacial is a medical-grade procedure that uses a pump that cleans away dead skin cells and debris using water pressure, an exfoliation tip, and a “vortex” or spiral suction action. For a more thorough exfoliation, a chemical peel is also used. Last but not least, the skin is treated with a high-pressure treatment to infuse it with serums.

The Three Steps of a HydraFacial treatment:

Step 1: Cleanse and exfoliate
Your esthetician will use a strong Activ-4TM serum at the start of your HydraFacial. This gently exfoliates dead skin cells, revealing a fresh healthy layer of skin. Your technician will then use GlySalTM to simulate a chemical peel but without the post-treatment scaling.

Step 2: Extract & Hydrate
Your esthetician will then use an automated suction tool to remove any residual oil or gunk that has accumulated in your pores. With the proprietary Beta-HDTM cream, HydraFacial uses a whirlwind suction action to extract debris from the skin painlessly. The AntioxTM serum is then added to nourish, moisturize, and restore the skin’s elasticity.

Step 3: Fuse & Protect
The application of nourishing solutions which saturate the skin with antioxidants and peptides for maximum radiance is the final step. With the right skincare routine and regular HydraFacial sessions, you can maintain your results for a long time.

HydraFacial Serums

First, Active-4 is a serum made up of lactic acid and glucosamine that helps with deep cleaning and exfoliating. Secondly,  Beta-HD. Salicylic acid and honey extract are used in this serum. This serum cleanses the pores deeply and is both antibacterial and hydrophilic, which enables it to draws moisture back through the pores thus managing any future outbreaks. Finally, Antiox-6 or Antiox-4.  Hyaluronic acid, which is highly moisturizing and plumps up the skin’s texture, is present in these serums.

In addition to these three serums, different “Boosters” may be added to tailor the treatment to individual skin concerns. Brightenol and BrightAlive are common boosters that help with skin brightening and dark spots.

The average HydraFacial treatment lasts no longer than thirty minutes. The procedure may take up to 45 minutes, but that is depending on the patient’s particular needs.
